Technique:

Procedure
  • Hair Transplant Surgeon Cleans the scalp.
  • Anesthesia is injected to part where follicular units will be removed. 
  • Harvest Hair follicular unit
  • Surgeon will divide this group of follicular unit into individual hair or few hair 
  • After preparation of hair scalp, surgeon will clean the scalp where it should be transplanted.

  • Hole will be made using needle and places the hair
Post surgery conditions
  • There may be need to take pain medications
  • Patient may need to wear surgical dressing over the scalp for one or two days if done for areas in head.

  • Patient can get back to normal life after 3-5 days.
  • Within few weeks transplanted hair will fall out. But it re grow in 2-3 months.
Risk and Cost
Cost will depend on amount of hair transplanted. The surgery is not covered by insurance.
Some of the risk are:
  • Temporary Hair Thinning will be occurred.
